Therapy Services
Specialized, holistic trauma therapy for couples, individuals, and families where past experiences - trauma, painful relationships, chronic stress, and/or pressure to succeed - are holding you back from the kind of life you want to live
Transparent Pricing
I am committed to transparent and straightforward pricing. My fees reflect the depth of experience, expertise, and specialized training I bring to my work, as well as my continued investment in ongoing skill development.
I'm insurance-friendly! Upon request, I will gladly provide itemized invoices you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement according to your out-of-network benefits.
You can also save up to 30% on the cost of therapy by paying with a pre-tax HSA or Flex Spending account.
It's common knowledge that access to healthcare (including therapy) varies significantly from person to person in the United States. I use The Green Bottle sliding scale model, developed by Alexis J. Cunningfolk, to increase access to care for people who could otherwise not afford it. I do not believe that money should be the only determining factor in whether someone can work with me.
A sliding scale only works when it's built on trust. For a small business like mine, I do not receive any outside funding to supplement sliding scale discounts. I still need to meet my business overhead and support my family. Therefore, I limit sliding scale spots to 20% of my caseload (clients and supervisees). Please be mindful that if you use a discounted fee when you could truthfully afford the higher price, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility.
Sliding Scale Tiers
Full Fee - $200
This fee reflects the true cost of services. If you have access to financial security; own property and/or have personal savings; are not worried about securing food, transportation, and healthcare; and are able to pay for "wants," you have economic privilege and power in our community. This price is for you.
Mid Tier - $150
This fee is for people for whom paying the full cost would prevent them from coming as often as they need, but who do not honestly find themselves reflected in either descriptions for the highest cost or the lowest. If you are struggling to pay down debt, build savings, or move away from paycheck to paycheck living, but you have access to steady income and are able to cover your mortgage/rent, food, transportation, and child care, you belong here. If you have a healthcare plan with good out-of-network benefits, or your employer contributes to your HSA or FSA - or you're a therapist who can pay for clinical supervision or consultation tax-free from your business account - please let someone without those resources take the sliding fee spot.
Bottom Tier - $100
The bottom fee represents an honest acknowledgment that there are folks who would not be able to access care otherwise due to the cost. If you are living paycheck to paycheck; you are tightly budgeted in order to afford housing, food, and childcare; and you have a high-deductible insurance or are uninsured, you belong probably belong here. You deserve the same care, at a discounted rate, as a person who can pay the highest tier.
